Jessica Hurlow is a painter and her most recent paintings are self-portraits where she is interested in conveying emotion. She is interested in the works of Malcolm T. Liepke, Jenny Saville and Artemisia Gentileschi. Her research investigates the female identity and how it is portrayed within art history and contemporary practice.
