Anya May

Anya May works across many mediums including sculpture, performance, photography and video. Drawing inspiration from her experiences throughout everyday life, childhood memories and toys, to examine themes of identity, nostalgia, the uncanny and the grotesque. May’s work delves into her experiences living with long term chronic health, the past and current battles she’s been through inspire her to create to widen the stigma that she experiences.
