Emma Louisa Moses

Whilst predominantly working with paint, Emma Moses also experiments with sound and digital imagery, and often includes mixed media in her paintings. Moses mainly focuses on nature, the body, and medical concepts. Flowers and insects are often featured, with these motifs beginning to become a main focus in some recent works. 

Moses also depicts the body – highlighting its raw, natural form and including any marks, scars and imperfections. Experiencing chronic illness informs her practice, and she hopes to raise awareness of medical conditions through her work.
