Heidi Lucca-Redcliffe

Perspective, physicality and portraiture; Lucca-Redcliffe’s practice is an exploration of the self. She is an observer of the form of the body in her own surroundings, developing a personal conversation between herself and her media. Through this she explores how she perceives herself within a space and her interaction with it.

Research and experimentation are important to Lucca-Redcliffe’s practice. She has a considered, sensitive and intimate approach, that can be seen through the pieces she has created. Lucca-Redcliffe is wrapped in an ongoing cycle of questioning what a self-portrait is, favouring the continuous process that never concludes.
