Megan Rogers

Megan has developed a focus on the interaction of colour, investigating the relationship between artist and audience. In creating an abstract work, the narrative and response will be self-imposed. However, using an object proposes a common theme to link an audience to the artist. Megan investigates the reasoning behind opinions, what influences a person to form differing interpretations of colour, allowing personal experiences, culture, history, location, and education to shape a person’s view. The acknowledgement of this response and self-reflection is what the artist desires to invoke in the audience.
