Pamella Gomes

Inspired by her experiences of multiple cultures and the investigation into the “human” and “more-than-human” aspects of the world, Gomes has a broad, interdisciplinary practice. 

Her ideas are continuously explored and filtered through a variety of media, incorporating performance, generative video, photography, drawing, natural dyes/pigments, sculpture, and sound into installation works. The multiple media become stimuli for different senses, coming together to evoke a change of perspective.

She aims to invite ephemeral experiences incorporating interactive and performative aspects, communicating awareness of interconnection.
